Thanks to Andy Smith Secretary Heanor and District MAC for the following suggestion to help clubs members booking flying time
I have just set up a booking system to comply with “Covid safe” using Calendly, (download from https://calendly.com/).
It basically allows members to put bookings in to a Google or similar calendar. You can control how many can book so you can limit numbers at the field. You can control opening times and availability.
It emails you and the member a confirmation when you book or cancel.
It will also output all of your bookings or a filtered selection to excel or other spreadsheet software.
You don’t need a website to use it, but you can embed it in to a website if you want. The publicly accessible end of it does not show members details or names.
It is a lot easier than using google calendar on its own and it’s free!
