Midland Area held it first 2019 examiners workshop in North Nottinghamshire hosted by Retford Model Flying Club.
20 club examiners and ACE’s were welcomed to the event by organiser Steve Mason , the day although over cast and windy started with a discussion of what to expect from the day.
RMFC member Richard Wilkins agreed to flying the A in the morning with another member and examiner Minty Morton the B after lunch.
Lunch was supplied by Midland Area with burgers and dessert being prepared by Retford club members. The BQ was a great success not much left over !
The group discussed the merits of each flight with different points of view stimulating excellent debate about the achievement scheme. Everyone left with more knowledge about the whats expected from a candidate and examiner.
A great day , thank you to Midland Area and Northern Area examiners who turned out even though the weather was not perfect for flying , the greatest distance travelled was from Oxford.
